Review

Hey everyone,

If you’re a fan of heartwarming stories, visually stunning animations, and fire-breathing dragons (who isn’t?), then you have to check out the movie “How to Train Your Dragon.” Trust me, this movie will take you on an adventure that you won’t want to miss.

The story follows a young Viking named Hiccup who lives in a world where his village is constantly under attack by dragons. Unlike his fellow villagers, Hiccup has a kind heart and wants nothing more than to find a way to coexist with these mythical creatures rather than fighting them. When he finally captures and befriends a rare dragon named Toothless, Hiccup discovers that everything he thought he knew about the dragons was wrong.

Not only does this movie have an amazing storyline that’s both emotional and entertaining, but it also has an all-star cast of voice actors. Jay Baruchel voices Hiccup with such genuine emotion that it’s hard not to get invested in his story. Gerard Butler lends his voice to Stoick the Vast, Hiccup’s father who is the chief of the village and leads the charge against the dragons. And Craig Ferguson voices Gobber, Stoick’s right-hand man who teaches Hiccup how to fight against the dragons in traditional Viking ways.

One of my favorite things about this movie is its attention to detail when it comes to the dragons themselves. Each dragon has its own unique design and personality that makes them stand out from one another. Toothless, for example, is visually striking with his sleek black scales and glowing green eyes. He’s also incredibly intelligent and loyal which makes him an instant fan favorite.

On top of all that, “How to Train Your Dragon” has some seriously impressive cinematography going on. The flying scenes with Hiccup and Toothless are absolutely breathtaking as they soar above clouds and dive through fjords. The score is equally epic, composed by the legendary John Powell who perfectly captures all the emotions of the movie through his music.

This movie has been a huge success both critically and commercially. It was nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Score. It also spawned two sequels that were equally as successful. “How to Train Your Dragon” has become a beloved franchise for audiences of all ages and continues to inspire fans all over the world.

So, if you haven’t seen this movie yet, what are you waiting for? “How to Train Your Dragon” is a timeless tale that will capture your heart and your imagination. And if you’re already a fan like me, then watch it again because it never gets old.

To sum it up in the words of Hiccup himself, “This is Berk. It’s twelve days north of Hopeless and a few degrees south of Freezing to Death. It’s located solidly on the Meridian of Misery. My village. In a word… sturdy.”
